The time value of money has less impact on gold imo unless your planning on denominating back to the $USD. Generational growth can occur quickly in a gold bull market and in this case it's going to be the ultimate transfer of wealth mankind has ever seen. Again imo

We all will end up back in fiat after the security is sold but I am not in a hurry to subject my capital to a currency who's yield purchasing power approaches zero
