The moment to continue this thread has probably passed. A lot of water under the bridge today. I'm scratching my mouse head about 'phantom shares'. I believe in them. And sure, you can be caught short and forced to cover pushing price up. It has happened and could happen again. But I thought the problem with phantom shares is that at some point you can't cover because there aren't enough shares actually issued to keep the delivery promise.
