Yes, my guess would be early October or possibly sooner. Depends on how quickly their attorneys get their response in. The PTAB could decide well within the 90 days of reviewing, as well........ Penny2pounds is correct in the experience of their lawyers and experts. VPLM spent a lot of time with the USPTO getting these patents approved. And I would (or am) willing to bet, because of the expected IPR, all the dots and t's were crossed along the way. Bare in mind, IPR's are only three years old. Their attorneys were well aware this was forthcoming. Getting this petition DENIED is extremely important!!!!! Because if not, Apple will stay the current litigation and we're then looking at four years of litigation. Not good. Apple gets sued all the time. This IPR is essential. Remember, there are a number of other companies that would love to get their hands on these patents once the IPR has been won!
