NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Shares of Implant Sciences Corp. IMX, -5.88% jumped almost 200% to $2 on Thursday after L3 Corporation disclosed it will acquire the defense firm by fiscal year ended June 30. The Wilmington, Mass., company said has seen growth in all of its businesses, particularly its semiconductor and explosives detection operations.
