But let's face it, dialysis isn't a large chunk of medicare because of that - it is large because of the obesity epidemic.


I dont get how being fat makes your kidneys shut down unless you are linking obesity to diabetes and then diabetes to renal failure. Most people under 65 who are on dialyses arent there because of diabetes.
