Actually, Grow Big downfall had 2 stages:

1) when he was forced to give Kevin Kreisler a controlling stake

2) when Kevin "resold" Grow Big to PVSP.

Obviously, Poiss believed that he would get funding from Plaid Canary or Pervasip.
Watever he got, it was not enough to keep its business open.

Conclusion.

A) Poiss is not a very good businessman, GBS revenues fell from $7.5M to $5M to $3M to nothing.
B) He took on terrible partners, hoping to save his business.
