The MM's can see everybody's targeted 'stop loss' on level 3 and they take full advantage of slowly bringing a stock down so they can seal the shares at or below the stop loss targets. It's a really shitty tactic, but, they do that because they want to make money and could care less about whether it's a junk company or the real deal...
