Funny, that is why I never try to time it, in past it has always bit me in the butt, so I take a position and then hold until fundamentals or story changes. I add on down trends if I still believe, but never sell unless something fundamentally shifts.

I always think, why not have two positions in same stock, a hold for long term and a trading position. But I always end up having the "trading" shares migrate to long term hold and never trade. Oh well, I understand my personality and know my strengths/weaknesses. So I buy and hold.

Peter, you have been right on multiple times with your charting and your thought process, but I think some of the new articles coming out is currently trumping historic charting.
