Franchisee didnt know how to manage a business. Took a risk and lost. ARTR violated Michigan Franchise law by not providing legal documentation to franchisee. This was all communicated in prior posts. ARTR was not held liable for any fraud, but since they did not provide the documentation to the franchisee as required by Michigan law, the court ruled the business txn as null and void and the settlement awarded to the franchisee by the court was to return both parties to financial status prior to the deal... Basicically unwound the transaction. Your question should be, where the hell is ARTR mgmt. Lawsuit is ancient news and amounted to about 2 hotel installs.
