It seems like a majority of the practitioners are uncertain about the device, and tried to schedule me an appointment to try different creams instead. The company needs to do a better job of patient awareness as well. Continuing to offer discounts to leading dermatologists might help. I did call various insurance companies and Psoria Shield/UV Treatment is indeed covered. I have really great insurance and they basically cover almost 100%. My next DD will be calling more insurance companies to see if our treatment is affordable and similar in price to creams and other medicine. I think there may be some kind of manufacturing hiccup as well since some of the offices said they wouldn't offer UV treatment until the end of the year. It could also mean that they need time to train their staff though.
