Yes, they are, but more importantly the are being used by the commissioners to define there personal economic philosophy that drives there decision.

This is paramount as it underlines that the decisions made by the individuals uphold ethical standards of the duto of office and are based on merit, logic and right for the citizens they serve and not swayed by ulterior motives, ie monmey, corporations, etc..

For them to reject GSAT's TLPS proposal after the articulation used in the NN decision would completely undermine legitimacy of ethical practices.

Considering the current environment at the FCC and the previous and ongoing accusations it would be political suicide to pivot 180 degrees 3 days after stating core considerations in NN approval.

Furthermore, I can almost guarantee that Ajit Pai will be subject to investigation. I am sure nothing will come of it, but politically he is a lame duck with no future in public service. That being the case what is his highest priority and motivation. A lucrative and prestigious in the private sector and his golden ticket, be the advocate for the highest bidder.

Gotta love how arrogant these players are that they actually think that these cockamamie and "elaborate" plans are invisible to the public. The are weak and easily seen through and the real cloak that hides them is not there ingenuity. They are easily seen by even the blindest. The cleverness that so feel they have and superiority is constructed through the purchase of "YES" men with no moral or ethics of their own.

You may be able to execute a plan, but please spare the injury to insult to act like somehow the you possess some superior cunning and intelligence. DONE
