To tell you the truth Zem I think the price of GenUltimate will be pulled in two new price directions. First, Medicare is set to implement Competitive Bidding Phase 2 on July 1. That will effectively lower the selling price for GenUltimate in select markets. I also believe we might lose one of the Big 4 as a result. I am glad I have a great pension plan.

Second, I believe from intelligence in the market that Unistrip is on its last legs with a major lawsuit coming, fighting Lifescan in patent court, and their obviously antsy manufacturer OK Biotech may pull the plug in the U.S. That should pull the price up.

So I believe DECN will make two packages for GenUltimate, one for mail order DME fulfillment, one for retail. The new mail order package (following Abbott's lead who makes two packages, Retail and Non-Retail) will sell for around $6.00 and the retail package will sell for around $14.95.

That's where my company wants to be, because that's where the market will be, but we can't get there. So message to KB, I'll probably be available around December 31.
