subzero - Of course, if XBIT LABS used a new XEON with 1 MByte L3 cache (we talking workstation - right?), the Opteron would have come in fourth place - out of four. Some would call it last place - no?

One can only remember back to the stary eyed dreams of Hammer being the highest performing processor on the planet....
