It is not off topic at all. They did not make it clear at all. If it was "clear", they would say...WE ARE NOT PLANNING A R/S.....not "a r/s has not been announced." They did not say there are no plans for a r/s, they said one has not been announced. I have seen tons of stocks r/s upon a company acquisition....happens quite frequently.
