200,000+ potential customer base



SchoolFuel is merely a glorified scrip program, and the largest users of scrip are parochial schools. 200,00 is the approximate number of families in the northeast Indiana region, which per another announcement from Mark is the targeted advertisement locale. Potential doesn't mean anyone is actually going to use it. In fact, having been one of those scrip users in the past, I can tell you he will be lucky to get more than a dozen or two users in the first 12 months. After paying tuition, most of those families won't have money laying around that they can put on a pre-paid card that they might be able to use at a supporting merchant. If their grocery budget is $100, they are going to buy $100 worth of Kroger scrip. The same goes for gas, building materials, restaurants, etc... By buying the scrip, not only does the school get their money immediately and directly, they also get a higher percentage (up to double based on some of the numbers that have been thrown around here and elsewhere). It is plain and simple....
