Despite record highs that reached triple digits, the June 4 event brought in around 2,000 people from Utah and surroundings states with most participants paid for multiple rides down the nearly 700-foot slide that was set up on about three blocks of 100 East with — the event was from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The large turnout is a good indicator that the giant waterslide could be part of the city’s 2017 summer schedule, according to event Chairwoman Tina Griffin."
