I'd like to know what DD his group tripped over, too.

I'm hoping a buyout of the debt occurs and the BK is dismissed because of a large share holder having a vested interest in gaining more than a "cancellation of their shares".

e.g. Buyout, pump, then sell, and the share holder gets far more than the "nothing" they might get if the BK is approved.
