As in OMG what if there's actually something there!

There's always that chance. Is it 1 in 500? 1 in 1000? Who knows - the level of unnecessary secrecy makes it virtually impossible to evaluate.

If the story is truly compelling, promoting Hay Mountain would have been far more effective without the hype that would just turn off mining-savvy investors. And far more effective with a technical report, actual data (even a few highlights would have helped), some explanation of what constitutes an "anomaly", and so on.......

And now there is selective disclosure and contradictory information regarding what level of funding will trigger drilling. And releasing that 8-K/PR last week did nothing but double-down on the selective disclosure. Shameful.
