Wow! A $210 sale of raw kenaf!

Raw, unprocessed kenaf sells for about $0.03/pound, so that $7,000 sale to a biofuel company means a whole $210 of revenue.

If HEMP is lucky enough to sell the remaining 5M pounds, don't count on it generating the $1.25M that Schmitt talked about in the PR, because he mistakenly used the $0.20/lb figure for processed kenaf fiber that he's stated several times before, including in the first 2014 HEMP video announcing the purchase of the equipment (see his comments starting at the 8:00 minute mark of the following video):

At $0.03/lb, the 5M pounds of raw kenaf means only $150K of potential revenue.
