this is like reading a man who is obsessed with his intestines...

instead of proclaiming his Joy at going to the seaside, he is
worried about how his intestines are coping with breakfast..

there must be a lot of good , very good factors in there..
but my first reactions are all about the agony of it
not being a material event and the writer expresses that
agony perfectly, yet again
