The injunction appears to be having a major impact on Flickr's users in Germany...check out this thread I found:

This comment is particularly informative:

Silanov PRO says:

Pacdog:

Ah, now I got it. Thanks for the link!

I cannot upload anything because I use a laptop and to upload something I would have to own a desktop computer! For whatever reason...

Unfortunately I don't own a desktop computer and also my wife and my son use laptops.

This means: All of a sudden my time on Flickr seems to be over!

Could I please get my money back? I am a pro user, who is prevented from using his account - thanks to your compatriots from the Marathon Patent Group.

What a bummer! This court decision seems to prevent all German users of laptops, notebooks, smartphones and mobile phones from uploading all kinds of photos to any kind of social networking website!

I am speechless! If it applies to uploads on Flickr, it will also have to apply to uploads on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Twitter, Google+ and so on. That's mad! Now we Germans have a clue of how North Korean internet users feel when trying to surf and use the web.
