Yes. the ranking is exactly that. I wish I could copy past the page. I tried a screen caption but the print was so small you couldn't see it. Then doing regular took multiple screens to see the whole thing. just a mess.

As far as I can tell the app store for each country is set up exactly the same. It is apple's set up actually, just converted for each country obviously. The ranking is daily by the way so I am going to keep tracking as best I can.

I tried figuring out an estimation of downloads based on the research paper and it came out to about 900 downloads per day for the US (rank #14=4385 for top paid apps ranking #14. free apps garner 10x the downloads - 4385 x 10 = 43850. The book category equates to 2% of the app store. 43850 x .02 = 877/day at rank #14.

I highly doubt that is correct, but using basic math principles it might be a rough estimate. That would be the amount per day just for the United States by the way.
