The Firefly Dx has military applications as well. If they add some other notable pathogens this will be standard issue for those who deploy because it's so compact and easy to use. Right now I believe the DOD is using the JBAIDS system which is bulky and takes a lot of time.The JBAIDS predecessor the RAPID by Idaho Technologies was just about the same. The Firefly Dx could be a game changer.
