SMRS Making an Active Difference through Honest and Ethical Conduct

Nearly every company today has some form of guidelines when it comes to ethics and behavior in the workplace. Of course, these guidelines vary according to the company. An example of this approach in action is Star Mountain’s recent acquisition of the Balmat zinc mining operations in St. Lawrence County, New York, from HudBay Mineral. Although this is a big step toward the company’s transformation from junior explorer to active producer, SMRS has aimed to keep all dealings and information about the Balmat mine as open to the public as possible in order to maintain consistency throughout its operations, now and in the future.
