Titan didn't control the timing of the announcement: the FDA chose the time. I think they did it on Thursday so that it would be recorded as an "early approval" for the statistics they show to Congress each year to explain what a great job they are doing. It should have been approved months ago (or years, right Truth!), but the FDA has never done Titan any favors in the past and apparently didn't see any point in starting now!

Friday was a perfect storm of sell on the news dumping, shorting and manipulation. I think we've seen the worst of it.

Every other development stage pharma seems to be traded based on future earnings, but apparently not Titan. Like the old Smith Barney commercials, they are going to have to get their valuation the old fashion way and earn it.
