Did anyone see the Dr. OZ show on Saturday morning around 1AM Eastern time. The whole segment was about Medical Marijuana. On the show was Montel Williams and two women with very young children that were suffering from Parkinson's disease. The Mothers were very upset that the standard medicine was not working for their babies and they were suffering with seizures, swelling and in pain. They had herd about cannabis oil for treatment of Parkinson's but could not get it because it was illegal in there State at that time. Both Mothers eventually managed to get the cannabis oil (under risk of imprisonment) and the cannabis oil worked wonders on their babies. People shouldn't have to risk getting a jail sentence for helping their children. Montel who has MS takes the cannabis oil for pain and he swears by it and is off all his opioid pain meds that almost killed him. The show was eye opening and a sad commentary of our time. Keeping medication that is safe cheaper and works better, from people of all ages just because it hurts the Mega Pharmaceutical Corporations bottom line, is outrages and cruel. The stigma of Marijuana is a thing of the past for most people today. The Federal Government should keep it's nose out of it's citizens business and stop prohibiting MJ for medical and recreational use. Prohibition didn't work for Alcohol which had no medicinal application and it doesn't work for Marijuana.
