Yes. the first yr IRL came into play and replaced cart I feel was a bad move.

Indy the 1st yr of IRL it was down 60% at the 500. Hotels you used to have to book yrs in advance you could show up the day before and get a room.

Finally people got used to it and it's a packed house again.


We were fortunate at that time to pick up Sonny Meyer, who set up Team Menards Engine shop. Great Memories...
