Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX, NYSE: TCK) announces that it has priced its previously announced offering of senior unsecured notes. Teck will issue $1.25 billion in senior unsecured notes, consisting of $650 million in five-year notes and $600 million in eight-year notes. The five-year notes will bear interest at the rate of 8% per annum and will be callable on or after June 1, 2018. The eight-year notes will bear interest at the rate of 8.5% per annum and will be callable on or after June 1, 2019. The offering is expected to close around June 7, subject to customary closing conditions.
