As a 28 year air force veteran I believe I should make this statement. Memorial Day is not a Happy Day. It is a Solemn Day. It is not for our active duty hero's, it is for our fallen hero's. I couldn't believe seeing on TV our actives serving in the desert being given airtime and wishing their family and friends a 'happy memorial day'. I believe everyone in the Baltia family thinks like me.
