A couple points for today based on a lot of discussion I am seeing:

- O/S did not change. I called yesterday late afternoon. So, the Hoppel 400 million share settlement are a question mark. We just don't have the information. (Edit - thanks rickn! It must have popped after I checked because it wasn't there before. glad it's in and done and can move on now. Get the crap out of the way!)

- POWFOLIO daily ranking (today #2 comic app at #15 comixology #14 and Marvel #16, Manga Storm is #17) in app store is absolutely significant. But it is pretty complex in how it works. I attached some links to check out how an app gets it ranking, but also if it means anything. As long as POWfolio can stay in the mix with the other main comic apps it is an absolutely win win. Read the articles to see why this is important. And it is basically what Rick Strom already told us as to why. YES IT IS IMPORTANT!

Google search list of 'does a ranking in the app store mean anything?

- Proprietary product: I did a patent search a while back to see what I could find about this. The aspect that can be proprietary is the compression engine (the code and algorithm used to compress the images and decompress them for streaming optimizing). I'm not a patent lawyer but just on a basic level, Glowdot probably has the rights to the proprietary part as they did the coding to come up with this new compression to stream high quality. Streaming is not new, but they may have improved it with new technology and the new technology is the proprietary part. Here's a similar patent about compression, one of the others is Jacob Strom, not sure if they are related, but it is techy stuff so you never know:

- Markiplier impact: absolutely important and the print series is important, but due to Red Giant's past of being webcomic based, and what they already shared, their material will be available digitally just don't know when. Non-the-less, his impact is huge with 13 million subscribers. The youtube video he promoted his comic in ZWAG has over 1.4 million views. Any time he does a plug we can guarantee eyes. We just can't guarantee how much in sales yet. We'll get a better idea after his first two comics and zwag are out.

Only a matter of time for REDG and I am really glad I'm in at these levels! I have another post focused solely on POWfolio - serious this for others to keep in mind. good day, thedocg
