my guess to the length of time its taking to finish is because they found oil, and the extra services are having issues getting to the rig to perform the evaluating of the oil zones. If there was no oil, they would have just plugged and abandoned it. Most of those supplies would have already been on location already (cement). With the discovery of oil, they may have requested more wireline tools, or DST tools that would not have been on the rig. I think this is a positive sign. Its much quicker to finish a well that is dry than to complete/test a well that was a discovery. I'm sure its just trying to figure out how much oil there is and what information they can get to help decide where to drill the next well.

Is back to the patch...pays better than Deere! And my is it hot here!
