That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Since a permit application is not an actual well and is nothing in development, it is useless as to predicting future performance of wells. A permit is Breitling betting $625 that they might drill a well in a particular location in the near future, which in October, I had virtually no doubt was true. If you want to talk about someone "scouring" useless information it would be "someone" looking at permits to predict well performance or, in this case, to predict future drilling activity. In order to give yourself some minimal understanding you should look at a database that contains expired permits.
Your point does still elude me.
By the way, I do, from time to time, look at the drilling wire to see if Steller, Breitling, or Atoka has spudded a well. One of the reasons I can't be sure I didn't see the permit, it being inconsequential and all.
My apologies reaper for bursting in. I thought you were commenting on that old irrelevant discussion we were having about the origins of Breitling. You know, the one where we both possessed the same knowledge and understanding, but you couldn't move past?
If someone else comes on here and makes the claim of Breitling being around for 8 or 9 years and being public for at least five, I know it is incorrect and have directed people to the appropriate filings to see for themselves.
