Here’s MY PREDICTION – At least 80% of those in P1b treated with the highest administered dose will be DISEASE FREE!!

Why I say that say you? Well, first off, SK spent too much time during the last CC trying to convince everyone that Bavi (at least at this time) was targeted for combo trials. Frankly, I believe very little of what SK says. IF Bavi is destined for combo therapy, WHY administer the ‘special’ higher P1a dose? It would serve no real purpose, especially AFTER you already have in your hand spectacular 1 treatment results at lower doses. Bavi will be mono therapy - IMHO
I believe there are only two reasons why you go with the higher 1 dose administration – one, because of the MOA, you want to determine if you can give a high enough single dose to cause a big enough ‘cascade effect’ for cure – or two, you want to compare a single 6 mg dose against multiple lower doses to determine which is a more effective (economical) delivery mechanism. If 2 2mg treatments provide the same benefit as 1 6mg treatment, etc…
IT IS MY OPINION that with the MOA of Bavi, the subsequent treatments will have an exponential positive effect, not a cumulative effect, assuming that the immune system does not shut down due to over stimulation (which to date, there is no data that I know of to suggest that this is an issue). Actually, it is possible that P1a did not utilize disease free subjects to ensure that the stimulated immune system had a ‘target’ to attack and that Bavi had something to attach to – it may have cleared the body sooner without attaching to disease. That is why I believe ‘over stimulation’ will not be a problem. I think the body will just clear it out of the system faster if there is no virus to attach to.
