Well my opinion is if you want to sell or buy has to be determined first. Plus the brokers most use make money off our trades. They have a live feed of up to .20 of a sec to know in your time frame that if it jumps to 1.73 if u sell at 1.70 in that little window they can do the trade and keep the .03 per share difference. There are two big companies that do these trades for most of the retail shares. Tho I wont name but easy to look up. They already have been sued. Just a little info most dont know.they are trying to change the time lag so the investors stop getting ripped off any%

But to answer your question. If bid is 1.70 & last says 1.70 & ask is 1.71 depending on the stock some are hitting the ask id say the price is going up. Sometimes the ask is higher so why sell at 1.70? If you need to dump it go higher n submit it if it dont go then lower it to sell.just my opinion.the question is to hard for many reasons. If its amazon or nike or facebook you can usually get ask. But a penny junk.0016 ask .0019 you will be waiting for days. So it depends on the type and hype behind said stock. Hope this may help. But just my opinion and dont go off just one persons way. Try what works for you. But before id put in a sale of 1.705. Go for the ask n go down if you have to sell. Good luck. But ask other's maybe they have better strategies to fit your needs.
