My suspicion is that he will rely on Accel and the distributors to do that.

Under Mel, it did not appear that DNA had any interaction with the retail stores at all. They only worked with their distributors, and let the distributors interact with the retail stores. Of course, this meant no advertising in the stores, and that was a bad idea.
