What I do know is that when buyers will only buy at the bid or lower, i.e. only wanting a bargain or no buy, THEY ARE NOT ALL EXCITED AND RUSHING TO BUT AND OWN THE STOCK!

When buyers think something is about to happen to make the price go UP, they buy at the ask, chasing it up. DUUUUUHHH
