Wow, that is a scary possibility. I do not understand all the nuts and bolts of such a thing. How does a person find out if they have been robbed? Almost like a un-claimed money kind of thing?

On a phone call today I learned there are USA investors stuck with millions of shares on cert paper that their existing brokerage houses refuse to accept, despite the fact that these companies ALREADY hold a ton of their zone and other stock! No such thing as being "grand fathered" These are mostly people that bought PPL last year at about 8 cents.
I know that such things are beyond the control of management, but it still sinks to high heaven. Greed is a duel edged sword I suppose. Maybe I would be a lot less edgy if my phone call had been returned.
