No more external trials for safety reasons but I'd be surprised if they didn't want to confirm that AC5 has potential to promote tissue growth and regeneration at ulcer sites.
Cutting 'healthy' tissue and sealing with AC5 is one thing but using on inflamed, infected and possibly necrotic tissue is another thing that could need some research. Having worked on infected wounds I know that they can be a real bitch to heal and often take a long time...
PersonallyI think they'll spend more time and effort gaining a foothold in Europe where the regulatory environment is less hostile - it's also a large market which will generate significant revenue and raise the profile of the company...
