Well what do you know....thanks Kelleyy, it sounded more difficult than it was. The hard part was getting the photo off of my 808 Pureview Nokia.
So what is in the pic? Blue shirt is Johan, behind him with a very unflattering candid expression is de liege. In the left foreground is Blair.
You can just see a bit of the green ball mill in the foreground as well...and the machine on the floor is the nozzle to the device that empties the ball mill.
The big space behind Johan and Daniel....I think that just shows how LTE has been proven wrong about the size of the space, but then that is just LTE being LTE, first he complains about the huge expense of the warehouse, then he states it is not large enough....I think you could park about fifty cars in the open space if you took out the equipment, not including the conference area, bathroom, ping pong table, and the clean lab area that is behind the blue wall, and is about 15x40 (maybe 20x40ft...that blue wall is the smaller of the two dimensions). In the lab area they had five people working when I showed up...Doctor Blair was trying to fix a mass spectrometer, and the two other Ph.d's were working with their assistants. And I could see them working in there while I was in the conference area though the open space in the lab was between us, and we were at right angles.
The machinery way in the back behind Daniel? I don't know what it is. A lot of it was in shrink wrap. And the open area looked like it had been cleaned so they could start setting it up...it looked quite durable and seemed to be stainless and used a lot of electricity. I am not capable of knowing what each piece was capable of, and I was not allowed to go and poke around it...I was allowed to see the lab areas...bot where they use the ball mill to breakdown various cellulose sources that other companies sent them(there were about twenty bags with various husks, grasses, shells and such). And to feel the current batch of the created product ( no I did not taste it, although I was tempted, to see if I could taste the sugars).
I also got to see how they arrayed the slurry to get the lignin to float to the surface. I best not say anything further about that as the other part has not been mentioned in any text I have read.
So there you go my fellow shareholders, LTE will have to go back to talking about the third wives of Africa. Because the lab is real, and is functioning, and active.
