why does everyone think so singular - it is completely possible (and plausible especially for those that read something 100 times) that VERB is only at the beginning and within 5-10 years will have multiple surgical robotic platforms that address multiple healthcare needs (surgery, spine, etc). From a surgical perspective, they need a platform that they can enhance and add to, they need a platform that they can provide them the ability in the future to do something like Microsurgery, etc.

No doubt that VERB has a technology partnership with SRI but that doesn't mean they can't pursue other technologies like Titan (to think otherwise is short sighted).
