Perhaps some have something to 'gain' from suggesting that convert was 'done' prior to it even starting to be sold into the market, and thus buyers believing we were at a bottom (ie that 30 mil plus shares wouldn't be for sale in short order thus suppressing the share price).

I would think the seller of the convert would like that idea that the 'convert selling was done' planted in the minds of buyers wouldn't you?
