Long term - my view on your questions (and simply my opinion).

1. The 'conversion dates' are set. The pricing would be based off those dates not when the 'physical conversion' actually happens. It works similar to an option exercise date (typically). As we've seen as well, in the past there has been volume restrictions on sales and their could be pricing restrictions as well, none of us know this in detail because we haven't seen the convert indentures.

2. I have no idea when the convert holder will stop selling, but given how they seem to have dumped thus far, they seem to be exiting the position vs holding. I had mentioned in the past that often convert holders actually hold the equity vs dumping for a number of reasons:

A) They believe the equity will be worth more

B) If they dump in a stock such as this they can kill their own returns - explained this is my pasts posts, please read through them. Starting here http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=122649281 - Clearly some of the numbers are 'off' given we know now that there is 370k of converts outstanding but it gives you an idea on how the seller can kill their own returns

That being said, it seems the convert holder doesn't want the risk of the PTAB killing the patents (at least from what we've seen over the last few weeks), so my guess is they don't stop selling until they are out completely.
