I've added the 250 ema to my 10 min charts, thanks to your recommendation. I've studied these things for a little while now. My opinion is that the ma crossovers aren't good for much. I like the ma's for support and resistance, but not for crossover moves. That's too lagging, and tells what already happened.

I'm of the opinion that nearly any short, medium, and long term ave will work. It's not the exact setting that's important. It's an interpretation of the short term trend represented by the lower aves, compared to the long term trends.
