From my perspective, it seems 95% of americans do not understand or simply do not care, and hence are ignorant to any violation of rights unless they can see the direct impact in relation to themselves. We are very commonly a selfish breed it would seem.

Though I cannot state what percentage of Americans who do not understand or simply do not care and who are ignorant of these violations of law, an awakened majority is not required. An awakened and influential minority is sufficient to shed a bright and continuous light on the ongoing violations and to create a rising tide of resistance and rejection for these violations among the populace.

It does not take many to influence a significant portion of the nation's populace. We have a clear example before us now, whether we like it, dislike it or are indifferent to it, Donald Trump's endeavor to be President. The vast majority of political pundits, poll takers and established politicians discovered they were completely wrong in their biased, unsupported views of Trump's chances as Trump and a small number of campaign workers knocked off 16 opponents while spending comparatively little money in a few months time. How could such a thing happen?

The half-truths and lies told about the GSEs that have been taken as truth since 2008 are gradually being exposed for what they truly are. The expose of the legal violations and secret maneuvers to siphon all GSE profits into the US Treasury are being brought into the light. This expose, already known years ago by careful observers, is now being championed by respectable voices in politics, journalism, economic history, legal studies, etc. who do not have a financial stake in the GSEs. Eventually, the expose will become public and increasingly known knowledge through the media, internet, and print. What will be the effects of this influential minority's efforts on the general public and politics at large?
