Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid 25 to 50 times more powerful than heroin. It is fast becoming a problem in the US. Synthesized in China it comes into the US by way of Mexico.

Rather than prescription fentanyl being abused this is street fentanyl. Extremely dangerous. Those pharmaceuticals that sell naloxone (narcan) to counter fentanyl overdoses may do well as the popularity of fentanyl grows.
