Apple Inc (AAPL)

When will the rally end for AAPL? I've got solid profits for my remaining 5000 trading shares, but should I sell now that the news, such as it was, is out?

I expected a few upgrades after the better outlook for the coming quarter, but it doesn't seem to have fundamentally changed any analysts recommendations which are mostly a "hold". The analysts did raise earnings estimates a nickel or so going forward which should be worth a couple bucks a share, at most.

Looking at the chart, it sure looks like on a technical basis, this stock should run up to $25 or so before meeting real resistance.

I'll be looking for a good up day for AAPL tomorrow as the mutual funds shift some money into the stock after they had the weekend to digest the earnings news from last week.

For now, I've entered a limit order to sell at $24.59 to remind me to take my profits if it hits that high. We will see.
