First Point, do you honestly believe the closing of a deal that results in change of control is not a material event? Do you think announcing the possibility of a deal is more important than the deal closing? That's how the company is acting now.

Second Point, yes, saying a deal closes within a weak is a short term teaser. It doesn't matter that it says it will result in change of control nor does it matter that the sector is hot. It says that a deal MAY close.

Third Point, yes, getting debt cleared out is obviously good. But, if the deal does not exist .... what exactly did shareholders buy?

The stock tanked and the main reason for that is because debtholders cleared out and some people started to realize that a deal which closed on April 28 really should have been disclosed by now. It's mostly debtholders because new stockholders want to believe.
