I might be wrong, but I am thinking that you are wrong on this. If I am right, as a moderator for this board, you should maybe refrain from giving tax advice.

There are only certain individuals that can get away without paying capital gains tax. You may do your own research to figure out who these people are if you are unaware.

Normally if you trade shares frequently (short-term gains), you will pay your current tax bracket rate. By holding them for longer than 12 months (long-term gains), there is the potential to pay less than your current tax bracket rate, BUT you are still paying capital gains tax.

As a moderator, I would like to assume that you have not believed this yourself and erroneously posted this by mistake. It's not a good look.
