Yup, that's what I heard as well. If there is some short position to be covered, and I expect there is, they don't have a lot of time to do it. There is no dragging this thing down over time to cover after some parabolic rise. If this guy went short to make a market, he is going to cover it as best he can. Of all the people that are going to lose money, the market maker is not one of them. Nor should he probably be as he is the one charged with making a market overall. Others have a better and more accurate view of their trading habits in penny land.
