I've given up trying to decipher what affects U.S. markets. A rate hike will magically become SUPER bullish to the markets, pushing SPX to all time highs. lol.

I was skeptical before, but after the DOHA collapse pushed oil much higher, (and therefore markets) I gave up. The whole reason oil started spiking for Feb 11 lows, (and therefore markets), was anticipation of a freeze meeting.

when said freeze meeting collapses in grandiose fashion, oil surges.

I call dookie on that.
